The P03S phase-change thermal‑insulation sheet (for thermal runaway) uses a phase-change material as its core, with hydrated salts as the primary component, combined with reinforcing fibers and a polymeric matrix. It undergoes multi‑stage phase transitions—solid to liquid to gas—during thermal runaway, absorbing substantial amounts of heat. Encapsulated under vacuum within a membrane, it absorbs heat during phase change at temperatures between 120°C and 180°C, while its structural thermal stability exceeds 1,000°C.
Product features: adjustable phase-change temperature, recyclable, high latent heat, and strong heat-absorption capacity.
Application areas: Exhibits outstanding protective performance for high-nickel ternary and large-capacity lithium iron phosphate batteries.
