Process Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
1. Conduct scheduled inspections of assigned production lines or processes, verifying the setup and execution of key process parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, speed, time).
2. Monitor product appearance, dimensions, and other quality attributes to identify potential abnormalities.
3. Serve as the primary technical responder, resolving process-related issues on the production line, such as product quality deviations, unstable equipment settings, or material compatibility problems.
4. Issue temporary process adjustment instructions and track their effectiveness.
5. Perform technical analysis on scrap and rework generated during the shift to pinpoint root causes in the process.
6. Ensure that all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), process parameter sheets, and related documents used on the shop floor are up-to-date and valid.
7. Provide operators with clear process standards and operational guidance.
8. Document daily process issues, corrective actions taken, follow-up items, and preliminary conclusions.
9. Execute predefined Design of Experiments (DOE) to collect and analyze experimental data.
10. Draft or update SOPs, process manuals, and other relevant documentation based on weekly process changes and optimization results.
11. Submit requests for document revisions and conduct training sessions for relevant personnel.
12. Evaluate the process suitability of new batches of raw materials or auxiliary materials, conducting small-scale trial runs when necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Age 25–40; associate degree or higher in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
2. At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering; candidates with backgrounds in lithium-ion batteries, new energy, chemical industries, or general manufacturing are preferred.
3. Solid foundational knowledge of the subject, with a deep understanding of process flows, parameter control, and material properties.
4. Proficient in using quality tools (SPC, FMEA, MSA, DOE) for data analysis and process optimization.
5. Strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness, committed to excellence and rigor; excellent problem-solving skills, clear logical thinking, and strong communication and coordination abilities; capable of collaborating effectively across multiple departments, including production, quality, equipment, and R&D.
6. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced manufacturing environments.
