Process Development Manager
Job Responsibilities:
1. Take full responsibility for the development and management of process engineering;
2. Systematically analyze bottlenecks in existing production line processes, lead or participate in process optimization projects, and achieve improvements in line speed, reduced material consumption, and higher product yield through parameter optimization, process reengineering, or auxiliary tooling design;
3. Lead the process introduction and mass-production ramp-up for new products and projects, ensuring a smooth transition from R&D to large-scale manufacturing;
4. Participate in pilot production of new products, develop pilot production process plans, and collect and analyze pilot production data;
5. Ensure the seamless transfer of new products and processes from A/B samples to the mass-production line, and finalize and standardize process parameters;
6. Conduct in-depth analysis of how variations in process parameters affect final product quality characteristics, providing comprehensive process‑technical root cause analysis and improvement support to the Quality Management Department for addressing product quality issues;
7. Proactively drive continuous reductions in manufacturing costs through process optimization, improved material utilization, energy savings, and controlled consumable usage, thereby achieving cost‑reduction and efficiency‑enhancement goals;
8. Identify and assess safety and environmental risks throughout the manufacturing process, ensure that process designs and operating procedures comply with applicable regulations and internal EHS requirements, and continuously enhance process safety levels.
Qualifications:
1. At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing process development, process improvement, or new product introduction; candidates with a background in polymer processing, composite materials, automotive components, or battery industries are preferred;
2. Familiarity with automated production lines and process parameter optimization, coupled with strong technical understanding; proficient in manufacturing workflows and key process control points;
3. Expertise in polymer processing, composite material forming, or related specialized manufacturing processes; familiar with DOE, SPC, FLC, FMEA, SOP, and other process development and quality tools;
4. Knowledge of APQP processes and production site management; basic understanding of EHS standards.
